Meet The Team

Morag Roberts - Dentist

Morag RobertsMorag qualified in Dundee in 1989. She spent one year completing vocational training in Broughty Ferry and then worked in Glasgow from 1991-1998 participating as a trainer in the West of Scotland Vocation Training Scheme 1997-1998. She then bought the practice from Alistair Maclean at King Edward Street before forming the Roberts & Travers partnership with Aileen later that year. Over the past 2 years, Morag has undergone additional training in aesthetics and restorative implantology (“smile design”), both particular interests of hers.

Morag is passionate about skiing which she enjoys with her three children (however, she’s just as happy on her own!!!) but when there’s no snow about she also loves to swim and go hill walking.


Aileen Travers - Dentist

Aileen TraversAileen also qualified in Dundee in 1989 and initially spent 6 months working as a House Officer in Dundee Dental Hospital before moving to work in practice in Dunkeld. She then joined Anne Wright's practice in Nelson Street, remaining there until moving here to King Edward Street in 1998.

A former international and junior European badminton champion, these days Aileen contents herself playing closer to home. She also has three children, a daughter and twin sons.


Pauline Davidson - Senior Dental Nurse

Pauline DavidsonFormer Nelson Street Practice patients might well remember Pauline who started her career there after leaving Perth Grammar School in 1991. Pauline qualified as a Registered Dental Nurse in 1996 who moved with Aileen Travers when she came to King Edward Street in 1998. Pauline was promoted to Senior Dental Nurse in October 2009 to keep her out of trouble.

In her spare time, Pauline enjoys supporting her son’s football team and watching her daughter at cheerleading.


Vicky Neave - Dental Nurse

Vicky NeaveVicky came to King Edward Street to work for Alistair MacLean after leaving Perth Grammar School in 1991 and spent 5 years with him before leaving to start a family. She was persuaded out of “retirement” to join him and Morag Roberts in 1998 and has been a stalwart of the Practice ever since. To relax Vicky enjoys a bit of retail therapy and has a peculiar passion for cleaning!!

 


Joanne Ramsay - Dental Nurse

Joanne CampbellJoanne joined the practice in August 1999 after leaving Perth Academy. After training at Dundee College and Dundee Dental Hospital she qualified as a Registered Dental Nurse in 2001 and is also a qualified first aider. She loves all aspects of her job, but particularly enjoys working on “smile design” treatments.

Outside work, Joanne is a busy mum to her new baby and enjoys keeping fit with walking and yoga.


Kirsty McEwen - Trainee Dental Nurse

Kirsty McEwenKirsty joined the practice as a trainee dental nurse in July 2009.

Kirsty is at present, undergoing training at Dundee Dental Education Centre. She is also qualified in first-aid.

Kirsty works out at the gym but prefers nights out and holidays.

 


Kaye Brown - Dental Hygenist

Kaye BrownAfter leaving Forfar Academy, Kaye began her career as a dental nurse, qualifying in 2000. She then decided to further her studies and completed her Diploma in Dental Hygiene at Dundee Dental Hospital in 2004, following which she came to work for us here at Roberts and Travers. Although working and looking after her daughter, she enjoys jazzercise to develop those abs.

 


Sue Staunton - Practice Administrator

Sue StauntonEssex-born Sue came to Perthshire in 2003 after living in Jersey, Northamptonshire and Aberdeenshire. After working for Roberts & Travers for 6 years as Receptionist/ Administrator, Sue now does the administration for the practice at home, which allows her more free time to devote to her new B&B venture. She also loves interior design, gardening and travel.


Lynda Haldane - Receptionist

Lynda HaldaneThe newest recruit to the Roberts & Travers team, Lynda joined in December 2009 having worked in Dental Practices in Perthshire and Broughty Ferry in Dundee.

Since meeting her husband, Lynda has travelled all over the UK and spent 3 years living in Spain before returning to her home town of Perth.

If there is any spare time available (she also has two children), Lynda enjoys reading, cooking and socialising.
